Digestive Diseases and Nutrition Center: Clinical Laboratory

Last updated: 03/27/2006

The Digestive Diseases and Nutrition Center (formerly the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology) at the Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo has provided clinical gastroenterology laboratory services since being established by Emanuel Lebenthal, M.D., in 1976. Now under the direction of Susan Baker, M.D., the Gastroenterology Laboratory continues to provide services that can assist in the clinical evaluation of your patients.

Reliable, consistent and credible analysis is the cornerstone of the staff's accountability. Your patient samples are processed in an expedient, professional and thorough fashion, providing the data you require to aid in diagnosis. Dr. Susan Baker is available should you require further discussion of the laboratory interpretation of the data.

Personalized attention to detail, consistency of service, reliability of data, daily access to professional resources, and the overwhelming continuity of the Gastroenterology Laboratory staff, help make the Women & Children's Hospital of Buffalo Digestive Diseases and Nutrition Center a leader.
