Special Interests:
Dr. Carrion's research involves the study of the effect of vitamin A on the immune system of the premature neonate. She also has academic interests in the area of necrotizing enterocolitis, neonatal hematology related to transfusion issues and practices, as well as neonatal outreach and transport.
