| Call to Action regarding state budget cuts to health care |

The Governor's proposed budget cuts can cripple health care in New York State and Western New York. Contact your elected officials to let them know this is wrong.
Between April 2007 and April 2009, the state has cut funding and imposed new taxes on health care providers six separate times to the tune of $2.2 billion. Six times in three years!!! For Kaleida Health, we have been hit with $12 million in cuts over the past three years and we are now faced with potentially $9 million more in additional cuts for 2010.
These cuts are discriminatory, dangerous and wrong. Enough is enough! |
