Donna M. McKinney

Donna M. McKinney has been appointed by Kaleida Health Financial Services as the Business Advisor for Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.

Most recently the Manager of Specialty Clinics at Women & Children’s Hospital, McKinney will be responsible for coordination of financial services and will assist in financial planning and operations for Women & Children’s Hospital.

"Donna’s education and experience in both private and health care industry finance will be a true asset for Women & Children’s Hospital, which continues to build upon clinical, operational and financial achievements as the regional center for specialized pediatric and women’s health services in Western New York," said Allegra Jaros, Vice President, Hospital Operations, Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.

Key responsibilities for McKinney as Business Advisor for Women & Children’s Hospital include monthly analysis and financial interpretation of business performance, providing financial expertise and support in decision-making matters such as personnel request processing, expense control and productivity.  She will coordinate financial support for capital expenditures, revenue enhancement and changes in services as well as the operating budget and capital planning with site management and finance staff to meet the financial imperatives.

McKinney’s professional experience also includes serving as a Financial Service Representative for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company based in Williamsville, NY, as well as Business Manager for Horizon Health Services, Bailey LaSalle Counseling Center and the Hertel Elmwood Counseling Center & Medical Unit.

McKinney received her Master of Business Administration from the University at Buffalo and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, from Medaille College

Women & Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, a Kaleida Health facility and teaching hospital for the University at Buffalo School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences, is the regional center for specialized pediatric, perinatal and obstetrical services in Western New York and beyond.
