Overview
Having a baby should be a wonderful experience for the entire family. To help ensure that it is, it is important for both mother and child to be followed closely throughout pregnancy, during the delivery, and after birth.
Women and Children’s Hospital is the regional perinatal center for women experiencing high-risk pregnancy. Our labor and delivery team is also highly skilled in the care of healthy pregnant and delivering women.
Accommodations
- Our 11-bed unit contains five birthing rooms, including one with a whirlpool tub.
- A lounge chair is available in each room for the comfort of birthing coach.
- TV and phone services are available in each room.
- Shower facilities are available for use.
- A kitchenette is available with a microwave and coffee pot, but please check with nurse or physician prior to eating or drinking anything.
